Privacy notice
Information used for your check
We collect your business brand, website, selected countries, search depth, email address, confirmation of authorization, request timestamps and check status. We use this information to verify your request, perform the check, deliver results and provide support. We do not request access to your advertising or affiliate accounts.
Abuse prevention and private links
We use a salted hash of your IP address for rate limiting rather than storing the IP address in application logs. Hosting and network providers may process connection information to deliver and secure the service. Our web server does not keep access logs for brand-check pages. We also use email verification, a hidden form field and usage limits to reduce abuse.
Your private URL contains a secret access token. The page stores it in session storage so you can return from checkout in the same browser session. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party cookies in the brand-check pages. Anyone with your private URL can access the check and associated search balance, so share it carefully.
Email and payments
A configured email provider delivers verification, credit purchase receipt and result messages. PayPal handles checkout under its own privacy terms. We maintain your search balance and a record of free credits, purchases, reservations, charges and returned searches. We receive the order and capture identifiers and payment status needed to verify your purchase; we do not receive or store your card details. Payment records may be retained where required by law for as long as applicable accounting and tax rules require.
Evidence
Reports contain information observed in public search advertising, which may include advertiser identities and affiliate identifiers. Reports are private, require an access token and are marked not to be indexed. Noindex is supplementary; possession of the access token is the access control.
Retention and deletion
Check details, associated private results and check access tokens are removed after 90 days. Account balance and transaction records are retained separately so credits remain valid for 12 months. A pseudonymous verified-email record prevents repeat free grants; deleting a check does not renew the free allowance. Email bodies are removed from our delivery queue once sent. Contact reports@poachsearch.com to request access, correction or deletion sooner; we may need to verify the request and honor applicable legal retention obligations.
Your choices and contact
We use your email for service messages, not marketing enrollment. To ask about your information or exercise applicable privacy rights, contact reports@poachsearch.com. The controller is Soft Dev FZ LLC (United Arab Emirates), which operates PoachSearch. We process your information to provide the check you request and to keep required payment records. Our service providers are DigitalOcean (hosting), PayPal (payments) and Resend (email); they may process information outside your country.
